The mother and son traveled several hundred kilometers on their initiative to help Pillo repair relations with her old family. They were unable to bring their dog with them when Lily Brown visited Europe.
Even though Pillo was only three years old and adored her folks and family, they knew they had to leave them behind. Even though the new owners of the dog had expressed a desire to return with Pillo, they didn’t want to put them in a position where they would be forced to do so, distressing them.
Lily noted. We didn’t want someone to fall in love with her just to end their relationship with her after three years.
