The kitten was afraid when she was put in a foster home. On the other hand, the Labrador taught her to have faith in other people. The kitten was initially seen by Kendal Benken, a volunteer at an animal shelter, who gave her the name Betty.
At first, it was even difficult to tell if it was a boy or a girl. She had to lift the cat into her arms with the help of a large towel. The baby’s hissing, scratching, and biting were to blame for everything. The woman had brought Betty along to help her get used to things.
She thinks that being present in your daily life, as opposed to hiding, is the most crucial aspect of rearing wild kittens.
Kendal put Betty in a big dog cage and set it in the middle of the kitchen. The dogs and people were always around the kitten. The baby was taken care of as if she were a member of her family by Truvy, a Labrador.
In a prior life, Truvy was undoubtedly a kitten mother, Kendal added. The woman wrapped a towel over Betty and held her while massaging her head to get the cat used to human contact. Betty engaged the Labrador in conversation and enjoyed his company.
The kitten also started to come out of the cage, but only when the huge dog was around.
The baby then left the foster home and went to live permanently somewhere else. The new owner of Betty is Rose.
