It should come as no surprise that many people believe dogs to be man’s best friend. Even your closest friends and family members aren’t always willing to give their lives for you, unlike a dog who won’t hesitate. A few months ago, Holi, a German Shepherd, was purchased by this Florida family.
When the owner’s seven-year-old daughter needed assistance, Holi jumped in without hesitation. Moly was playing in the yard and was shocked when a rattlesnake came and approached her. The dog came to Moly’s aid, lying in between them, as soon as it noticed him and the snake.
The dog put his life in danger to save the child, but he remained.
The man who had previously saved the daughter needed aid right away, so the entire village banded together to raise money for an antidote and treatment.
On the first day, $15,000 was collected, and on the second day, the amount had surpassed $50,000. Thankfully, Holi was kept alive while undergoing therapy till he fully recovered.
