A dog was seen in a small valley that was believed to be impossible for it to escape from due to its steepness. They made calls to the neighborhood animal welfare groups and requested assistance. Very shortly, a volunteer by the name of Michelle arrived on the scene.
She decided to assist the animal by heading to the valley’s base. Michelle received a welcome surprise as she headed downstairs. A small kitten was being fed milk by a Shih Tzu dog that was laying on the ground.
This demonstrates that, contrary to what the males thought, she didn’t get lost in the ravine; rather, she took care of and nourished the youngster, saving him. If someone had not spotted them in time to alert volunteers, it is unknown how long the foster mother and her child would have stayed at the bottom of a tiny gully.
The dog and cat were delivered to a nearby shelter. The dog that remained in his ward was called Gerda. Mother Gerda was an excellent friend. She stayed with the cat the entire time. The kitty was virtually impossible to move about because it was so chubby and had grown so quickly and unpredictably.
