Caitlin Cusack discovered that her daughter will not be like other people before the baby was even born. The expecting mother was told by the doctors that her child would almost probably be born with a birth defect, such as a cleft lip. 2019 marked the year of Ivy’s birth. Just as the doctors had predicted, she was born with a cleft in her top palate.
Throughout the course of her first year of life, the youngster had to endure numerous grueling plastic surgeries. By the time she was two years old, she was fully recovered.
And it was discovered that for the first two years of the baby’s life, she had a cat obsession. An adult cat was living with the young household. They grew close, but the cat was determined not to become the little girl’s playmate.
The parents decided to get their daughter a small, playful cat as a consequence. They were positive the animal belonged in the shelter. Then Caitlin received a Sargent Pepper photo from a pal. The kitten had a fissure in its upper jaw, and no one would want to take in the strange-looking cat, thus Sargent Pepper’s presence appeared to be a sign of doom. And it was a beautiful coincidence that the cat was named after the album’s protagonist because Caitlin’s husband loved the Beatles.
Similar to the kid, volunteers contributed to the cost of the cat’s surgery to correct a congenital abnormality. The treatment went smoothly, and the kitty recovered its health and happiness. Ivy spent a lot of time with him, playing with him, and eventually dozing off on the couch after a long day of games and fussing. He proved to be the perfect company for her.
