Max the dog had not been popular with potential adopters for a very long time. She was a husky shelter resident who was very outgoing, vivacious, affectionate, and compassionate. She did, however, have one distinctive feature: a distinctive appearance. It appeared as though the husky was always amazed.
Since Max was born in a breeder’s home, his owner vowed never to sell him and instead gave him up to a shelter. To find him a home, the shelter staff decided to keep trying and posted about him on Facebook.
They were unsure of the dog’s reaction, and pictures of the dog quickly went viral. Many hundreds of people expressed interest in adopting him. As a result, one couple was chosen who was eager to have a new pet and already owned two huskies.
Despite Max’s peculiar appearance, people nevertheless admired and adored him, just like they would any other cute dog.
