Veterinarian Robert O’Brien, who is now retired, builds carts so that disabled canines can once again walk.

The 92-year-old veterinarian Lincoln Parkes has spent more than 61 years assisting animals with disabilities to regain their mobility. Even though he is already retired, the man believes that nobody will ever provide the dog’s wheelchairs.

Robert O’Brien is generous and compassionate. He’s had a special place for animals his entire life. He began building carts at the start of the 1960s. A dog owner took his pet to the veterinarian one day. The dog was unable to even stand. He offered to construct the dog a wheelchair so that it could begin to stroll once more. He put a great deal of heart and love into it.

Robert kept doing this incredible work even after he retired.
Each time he loaded one onto a cart, he delighted in watching the crippled canine begin to walk on his front legs. He is thrilled to be able to help even after retirement.

He continues to work in his chosen field despite getting older and moving a little more slowly these days. Animal donations are now more widely accepted as a result of Dr. O’Brien’s kind act.
